Spotted this on Picturedome web site. Brilliant news as a fantastic venue and only 5 minutes away for me.

First band to sell it out the first time they played.

Yes, It is strange place for such a good venue, surrounded by hills and scenic views. If you ever saw Last of the Summer Wine ( a 'supposed' comedy programme, which simply wasn't funny) they filmed a lot of it around there.

Got my tickets yesterday and can't wait for the gig.

Agree about "last of summer wine" along with "allo allo" British comedy at its worst. British comedy at its best? "The Office", pure class.
I can see why there is sympathy for Hudds manager terrier but IMO he wasn't actually making much headway, kind of treading water around 4th/5th spot.

Agree there Cliff re Allo Allo. One of the best series ever was Early Doors, I could identify with everyone of the characters in my local !!

I think the article below I saw today sums up what the general feeling was.

Hoping to pay on the door for this, hope it's no problem.

Great gig, I was on the front row. Very loud and very energetic as always.

Billy was kind enough to select me to receive a drum skin signed and dated by the band (do they do this all the time now?), which made my night.

Brilliant Pics Tom.

glad it was a good night.
I assume you got in 'on the door' rather than buying spares?

What was the crowd like, full house and were they up-for-it?

I am doing the London Gig in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to it!

Thanks, there was a fair but of jumping and pushing etc, but I was on the front sober and therefore not involved! The venue was very busy, it is a strange place but very intimate feeling wherever you are stood.

I had no problem paying on the door, it was £20 but I wanted a ticket as a memento, but I got a much better one with the signed drum skin!

Great Pics Tom.

Great gig at The Picturedrome - great venue/great crowd and a superb performance by the band.

Also had a great time before and after gig - drinking/chatting until early hours.
Great to see Brad/Andy & Lynne/Phil & Nora etc.etc.

(Special thanks to Brad for ferrying me around etc.)

Hawk, if that is you in the second picture of that album, I believe it is you that wanted to buy the drum skin from me? I can assure you that it is worth more to me than money and it won't be appearing on eBay in the future! It is now proudly hung up on my bedroom wall.
