Postby terrier2 » Tue Jul 10, 2012 10:10 am

Can't wait, 3 gigs this week, especially Holmfirth as 5 minutes away !!
:D

Saw a great young band from Donny last Sunday called in Fear of Olive, fantastic live and well worth a listen to and seeing live.

No, support is the Killermeters, old mates of the band, who toured with them in the 80's and from Huddersfield.

Sire, the Killermeters only seem to support the band when they play locally. Doyle and the Fourfathers were meant to support them at Whitley Bay and York, but because they split they had different support.

I first saw the Killermeters at a place called the Coach House in Huddersfield when I was about 11. Many moons ago. :(

Looking forward to tonight though, great venue. Just hope the sound is better than last night in York, appeared to be problems.

Are tickets on the door going to be a problem tonight?

I done a few Tones gigs in the last few years and very rarely buy in advance, and get in no problem.
However last year got caught out at a couple times, but managed to get tickets from sell-backs and spares.

Turn up mate, should not be a problem.
