Good news Mark.
Me and a mate will be there. Never been to THE BROOK before.
Hope the Southampton crowd are up for it. Went to Brum on Friday and it was a little flat. Shame!
Looking forward to this Friday. Great to hear Casbah Rock again!

Do you know a decent venue for a pre-gig Pint?

Someone said The Great Western (I believe?)

Cheers

I'm going. Then it's Beth Orton on Saturday at Bournemouth O2, the latter being my wife's choice!

Excellent!

We'd never been to the Brook before, and were very impressed with it: we got served quickly at the bar, no rip-off prices (£4.35 for a g & t + bottle of water, as opposed to £2.95 for just a bottle of water at Bournemouth O2), and we had a great view of the stage, as it's well above the floor.

I’ve not been to The Brook before but thought it was a fantastic venue, much better than The Joiners which was the location of The Undertones’ last Southampton gig back in 2005. A sell-out crowd of very much like minded and appreciative fans which made for a great atmosphere from the start and which in turn helped ensure a great performance by the boys. My only regret was that we didn’t have time to hang around afterwards for a chat.

Also a word of praise for the support act – Doyle and The Fourfathers. A great young band – hope they get a recording contract soon, they deserve to. Check them out if you haven’t already.

Southampton was one of the best Tones Gigs I have been too. Probably only second to the Lille concert (a few months ago).

Same as Mark, never been to The Brook but an excellent venue. Had a really High Stage, a standing-only pit and a balcony for seating and standing.

The band really seemed to be enjoying themselves, Paul was the most animated I have seen for a while, seemed to really engage with the venue and the audience.

The crowd were really up for it and showed how Southampton can have a great night.
The venue holds 600 and I believe the sell-out signs were out before the lads came on stage.

Good to hear/see 'Dig Yourself Deep', with 'Recommending Me', being dropped.

Cant wait for London gig... Southampton was just the warm-up.
Brilliant night!
